We were engaged by a leading Netherlands-based Investment Manager to run a Front to Back review of their Target Operating Model, which had evolved over time and which was beginning to restrict their availability to scale and meet their ambitious growth targets
Our consultants also assisted the client in conducting a feasibility study for the outsourcing of a number of their processes to the Blackrock full-service model. Specific areas targeted for this were Operations and Data Management. We also helped facilitate a proof-of-concept for a move to use the Blackrock full-service IBOR solution
The client ultimately opted to implement the outsourcing solution and as a result was able to achieve significant cost reductions, reducing headcount by approx. 200 FTE whilst greatly improving the efficiency of their data and operational processes
